Why making this Homemade Turmeric and Ginger Juice?

Ever since I discovered the incredible health benefits of turmeric and ginger, I’ve been finding ways to incorporate them into my daily routine. Here’s why:

Turmeric:

Is a vibrant orange spice that has been used in India for thousands of years, both as a flavorful spice and a medicinal herb. Its active compound, curcumin, offers potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, making it a must-have in any wellness routine.

Ginger:

Ginger, with its zesty flavor, has a rich history in traditional and alternative medicine. Its main compound, gingerol, provides powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, supporting digestive health and reducing inflammation and pain.

Ingredients for Homemade Turmeric and Ginger Juice:

  • Turmeric: The star of the show! This Eastern spice is packed with curcumin, offering anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
  • Ginger: This aromatic spice from Asia not only adds delicious flavor but also supports digestive health and reduces inflammation.
  • Lemon: Rich in vitamin C and other nutrients, lemon adds a refreshing twist and supports heart and digestive health.
  • Coconut Water (or Filtered Water): A natural source of minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium, and sodium, coconut water enhances the nutrient profile of this juice. If you don’t have coconut water on hand, regular filtered water works too!

  4. Strain: Using a sieve or cloth, strain the mixture and pour  into a glass bottle to refrigerate.
